Media Borough and the Recreation Board
are pleased to welcome you back to the 29th Annual Media 5 Mile Race on State Street!
Race participants, sponsors and cheering enthusiasts will enjoy the benefits of our beautiful downtown ambiance. Our challenging course will travel two loops through the streets of Media borough with awards and finish at Veterans Square. Music, Prizes and Sponsors complete the festive atmosphere. Registration will be capped at 1200 runners. T-Shirts will be given to all registrants.

Before the race - enjoy an historic walking tour, stroll the lovely streets to see our eclectic and friendly neighborhood. Shops on and adjacent to State Street and Baltimore Pike will be open for the evening to serve you. Stop and see our great sponsors and donors who support our runners.
Watch the race from any spot along the course! Join our neighbors at water stops at 4th and N. Olive and 3rd and Edgemont Streets. Don't forget the fun and free Kids' Runs at 6:00 at Barrall Field - State and Edgemont. Lots of photo opportunities abound.
Relax post race, and enjoy the runners' awards and vendors row on Veteran's Square. Cool off with cold beverages at our resturants and pubs and look for specials in town. Spice up with nightlife of music, conversations and fun.
Our volunteers from the Media Fire Company and EMS will be on hand to assure timely responses to any medical needs.
The Media Police Department will be available throughout the borough to assist and to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening.
