Bringing you the most advanced timing system that is accurate, easy to use, light-weight and non-returnable. As in 2009, delivered by CompuScore Timing.

This flexible D-Tag band comes attached to your bib, is easily removed and looped through your laces. Read all about ChronoTrack System and view their online tutorial.

Over the last year, runners and race directors alike have come to rely on the disposable D-Tag to time their races with convenience and ease, thanks to the revolutionary RFID technology. ChronoTrack Systems, having continued their pioneering work in UHF timing systems, are pleased to announce the arrival of the most anticipated technology in race timing history: the D-Tag, a disposable UHF RFID tag that is looped through the shoe laces.

Our goal is to assure that all runners have a great finish. No more struggle to remove chips, delay heading to the water or forgetting to turn in chips, plus you get a souvenir!

Q. How to Attach the ChronoTrack D-Tag?
A. The D-Tag Strip should be looped through the shoelace. Follow these Steps:
1. Your timing D-Tag will be afixed to your bib number,
2. Pull the complete D-Tag off the bib
3. Tear off the directions half of the D-Tag
4. Loop the numbered side through your shoe lace
5. Remove the small paper tab on the back, and bring ends together. With ends together, orange side of D-Tag is visible. align the small holes at each end and press together to seal.
6. DO NOT FLATTEN LOOP as this will damage the timing element.
7. Rotate D-Tag so your running number is visible from top.

Q. What is a ChronoTrack D-Tag Band?
A. A ChronoTrack D-Tag is a miniature transponder in a specially designed housing, marked with a unique identification number. The transponder is a waterproof flat ankle band that contains a silicon chip and an energizing coil. The ChronoTrack D-Tag can be used under all weather conditions, wet and dry, cold and hot.

Q. How does the ChronoTrack D-Tag Band work?
A. There are no batteries in the ChronoTrack D-Tag . The transponder is inactive until moved into a magnetic field, generated by a send antenna in a mat. When the ChronoTrack D-Tag enters the magnetic field, the energizing coil produces an electric current to power the tag. The transponder then transmits its unique identification number to a receive antenna in a mat. The entire process takes approximately 60 milliseconds.
